These poems further probe the human psyche and impart the sense of coming home to the land of Ynys Môn. The limitations imposed by illness are stated with raw candour and the inequalities in life deliberated. However, these musings are interspersed with the hope derived from memories, friendship and the determination to pursue a quest for meaning. This fourth volume is autobiographical and yet also delves into the ethereal world which has held Mary aloft during the most difficult of times. The ultimate aim of 'Home' is to reach the core of the reader by transcending the everyday and unreservedly revealing Mary's own character.
