Bill Broder shares his life path as a storyteller, from a youth in a Chicago suburb through college and Navy years (Korean War), onto exploring his role as a writer at Stanford University, and moving with his wife (also a writer and storyteller) to Sausalito, California. Bill struggled with anxiety and depression following the death of his father when Bill was a teen, and was able to find help in therapy, and solace in his supportive wife, Gloria. After her death, Bill was faced with a re-evaluation of his own narrative, and discovered that his life long vocation as a storyteller had taught him the life lessons that philosophy never had, the meaning of truth, goodness and beauty.
