Fables From the North

A fable is a story that teaches a lesson. Animals are the main characters of most fables. The traits of animals often mirror human traits such as: curiosity, jealousy, boasting, greed, laziness, hard-working, perseverance, honesty etc. Author Rhonda Mcdonald spins fables based on clasic Aesop tales. Her love for Alaska is evident in her writing. She has spent many hours in the state of Alaska on vacations with her family.
