Many of us, in our inner mind, often get questions: "What is God?" - "Who is God?" - & "Where is God?" This book is a presentation on the philosophy and message of the ancient Hindu Sages about concepts of "God" according to several ancient Hindu texts and several modern day teachers. This explains the philosophy and the message of the ancient Hindu Sages about concepts of "Brahman" (God), also known as Bhagavãn or Paramãthma, as the One supreme power according to all ancient Hindu texts. This is Spiritual Insight into the Hindu concepts of a Supreme Truth. This is an eternal search for the Supreme Reality for the benefit of understanding the concepts about Brahman as the Divine Force. The Long search for the "Unknown Energy" that controls all the Forces of Nature and its creations started more than 25,000 years ago and still continues. We are just analyzing some of the information here to get an insight into that Eternal Reality and also compare that to other contemporary thoughts and faiths. The Upanishads explain the Supreme God as Truth and at the same time allows enough freedom for prayers to subordinate divinities as Upa-Devathas or Demi-Gods. The same Supreme God is seen and worshipped in Its formless immanent way as also in several transcendent manifest forms in all rituals and devotional prayers. This is a very ancient culture and tradition. Hindu Religion is the third most popular religious practice in the world. Hindu religion is practiced as a lifestyle or Dharma by more than a billion people in its various paths and forms, with unity within the diversity that is seen. This study also deals and compares with various groups in their approach to this Reality and also has a comparative look at other world religious groups and their thoughts as quite comparable. It explains the truth about that One Supreme Immanent Divinity with the tradition of prayers to multiple forms of Gods in worship that often confuses an outsider. It explains the principles of this truth as in our ancient tradition and practice in detail for the students about the Religion as a Dharma of the teachings. While we study the theology we see some leaders who may often try to create a God of our convenience, as one that will protect all its creations. We will also consider from the other point of view as to how a Supreme Force would have created this world and all its beings and give them a free will to act and enjoy or suffer from those actions. These 108 lessons are useful for practicing Hindus around the world to get the proper understanding of the several paths in their faith and their beliefs. It will be of great benefit for the students to understand alternate thoughts about the Supreme Reality as "God" and about the subordinate Deities that everyone worships. It will teach them to live in peace with others and within themselves. Here we study about the messages in the Upanishad, Sãnkhya and Vedãntha Dharsanas, teachings of Bhagavad Gita and various Ãgamas to see how we visualize a Supreme Divine Power as the Universal Cosmic Intelligence. The various forms of practices are explained along with the true Unity in the principles that lies beneath the diversity in these various paths being taught as Sanãtana Dharma.
