When we are faced with life challenges, chaos, and calamity, we place our trust in temporary things, which only lasts a moment or better said, a "quick fix". But, when we totally put our trust in God and allow Him to fight our battles and give us direction and instructions, we will no longer put faith in ourselves, people or things. Instead, we will look to God who has a permanent solution to see us through our difficult situations.
