The 50 Year Old Poet

After being diagnosed with Depression, the author took up writing as part of his therapy. He soon found a love for creating poetry and established a blog called The 50 year old poet to publish some of his poems. This became a daily ritual to try and put up new poetry everyday. After six months he decided to put this collection of over 140 poems together. The poems included deal with the daily struggles of a person trying to cope with anxiety and depression, it also has some lighter moments including for example the trials of the family pet and the authors annoyance with social media. The title of the book is self explanatory even though he was 49 when he wrote it!
