The Pursuit of Happiness: A Book of Poems Honoring Our American ValuesThis book is a dedication to our great nation, The United States of America. I do believe this nation is exceptional, and that we have a specific and certain purpose in the world (manifest destiny). Our founders, many of whom were Freemasons, had certain values that they incorporated into the founding of our nation. Those values include Liberty (We as Individuals design our own lives), E Pluribus Unum (Strength and unity in diversity), Godliness (In God We Trust), Democracy (We The People set the Laws), and Capitalism (The Market-Economy). Dennis Prager of Prager University refers to the first three as "The American Trinity," a term I do endear. I refer to all five as the "Five Core Values of the American Fire." Each of our values are perpetually threatened by ignorant people, sometimes foreigners and sometimes sadly fellow Americans, who seem convinced that the U.S.A is a bad nation that is inherently evil. So I find it necessary to pay reverence to our core American values, that they may live forever in the hearts of our people. It is these values that are the reason for our success as a nation, and these values will be our insurance against collapse, and our assurance of continued dominance. It is our duty to steward a new order of the world, and our trust that our God favors this duty.
