Was she a candidate for hell? There was a time in her life that this question echoed in Carver's psyche on a daily basis. Raised in church and saved at a very young age, Vanessa Carver devoutly attended church all while harboring a serious identity crisis -- this was her reality. Could it have been functional depression and oppression that lasted for decades? Life had become a pit. She cried out to the Lord and He began to lead her out of a very dark time in her life. Healing and deliverance can be a painful process. As she made her way out of darkness, the old became new, but for Carver, the new was not always welcomed or understood. The healing journey was indeed arduous and never ending. The thought of being a candidate for hell no longer echoed in her mind. The question then became: "Who am I?"
