Up From The Pit

Was she a candidate for hell? There was a time in her life that this question echoed in Carver's psyche on a daily basis. Raised in church and saved at a very young age, Vanessa Carver devoutly attended church all while harboring a serious identity crisis -- this was her reality. Could it have been functional depression and oppression that lasted for decades? Life had become a pit. She cried out to the Lord and He began to lead her out of a very dark time in her life. Healing and deliverance can be a painful process. As she made her way out of darkness, the old became new, but for Carver, the new was not always welcomed or understood.
