Confederates Reborn was inspired by the American Civil War (1861-1865). Questions about the nonconformity and non-acceptance of the defeat of the Confederates, conversations with southern Americans, and current pro-freedom confederate movements also contributed to inspiring the plot's features. Despite the revolutionary features of the plot, the human element always stands out throughout the story.Synopsis: XXI century. Almost two centuries after the American Civil War, there is a growing movement in the southern United States: A patriotic movement of Confederate consciousness. Jerry Carpenter, a resident of a small town in the State of Florida, grows through all of this. From childhood, he reveals his vocation to lead. His purpose is to meet the need of all, as one. Among his childhood friends are his great and faithful friend Jason Peterson and Jason's sister: Ellen, whom Jerry falls in love with. Throughout his life, Carpenter faces human losses, amorous delusions and disagreements with friends, but he also has the support and admiration of many people. Supported by Jason (although the two join different parties), Carpenter becomes an eloquent politician. To achieve his goals, he must count on the help of his faithful "friends and allies" of childhood and adolescence. But his projects go against the goals of the Federal Government, whose ally is rightfully his great friend Jason. Supported by southern society, he becomes a keystone in the process that, at its climax, will result in the second secession of the southern states. Now his best friend is also his enemy in this war that the American president has declared against the rebels. Chased by the FBI and the CIA, Carpenter and his "friends and allies" will have their biggest confrontation with the Federal Government. Romance, drama, action, comedy, nostalgia, politics and war strategy make up the story of a man whose goal is the well-being of society
