Upgrade Your Salaah

I heard one of my teachers mention whilst teaching us the Sayyidul Istighfar that: "We learnt in madrasah 'astaghfirullah' and 20 years later we are still saying astaghfirullah - the same one. We need to upgrade our istighfaar, upgrade our tasbeeh of Allah, upgrade everything day by day, even our duaas to gain nearness to Allah subhaanahu wa ta'aalaa." It was this that made me question myself: have I been praying Salaah the same way as when I did in madrasah? I needed to upgrade my Salaah. I used many tafaaseer like Tafseer ibn Katheer, Tafseer Baghawi, Tafseer Qurtubi, Tafseer Maajidi, ahaadeeth, commentaries and words of wisdom by my teachers to get a deeper meaning of what is recited in Salaah. I compiled it into a book so that others can also upgrade their Salaah.
