While some of its content is not entirely accurate (or is spiritually debatable) it is an important piece of then-modern lore on demonology.It is the treatment of spirits, especially those of a purportedly evil nature, that most concerns the occultist with such literature; it makes the claim that spiritualist mediums and clairvoyants are sometimes frauds but at other times do communicate with spirits, but not of the dead but rather from Hell itself- literally, devils and demons.
