Linda Grosenbaugh was an assassin for the Chicago crime syndicate. Her father had introduced Linda to the crime family at an early age. Daddy was "boss" of the human organ-harvesting operation in Lancaster, California, but made an unforgiveable mistake, making him and his family expendable. After the death of her parents, Linda was on the run. Having taken her father's last words seriously, Linda arrived at a refuge known as We Ville. Once admitted to her safe haven, Linda became an important part of that community, later to learn this was all preordained destiny. The unique town is occupied by those with infinite powers, some strange and some wondrous.
