Smokey Hill

To the best of my recollection, this story is true. The tale concerns an incident I witnessed in Kansas City in the summer of 1955. In light of today's wars, terrorists, monster videos, movies like The Hunger Games, Avengers, et al, the event will likely be considered trivial, much ado about nothing, and it probably is, but not for me. I was there; it wasn't pretty.
