Surface World: Book 1

Dregous, a Dark Elf Prince, struggles with the knowledge, someday he will destroy all life in the world as they continue after the undead witch's prized possession. An unknown artifact that may enhance the group's attributes. The legendary Ayrian princess, Tatiana, who's secretly in love with Dregous, is concerned for him since their encounter with the undead witch. The rest of the group keeps an eye on their unique Dark Elf friend. Angelique, a disguised Drouwe Elf Assassin aligns with the prince in the hopes that he will help restore her fallen house. She develops an attachment to him. Tuke Flaring, a priest from the east, and Remmen, a half Aquatic Elf/Human are trying to help Dregous recover from the witch's attack. In their search for her artifact, they stumble onto a plot devised by Verel, a fallen Knight of the order to destroy the town that houses his former company with chemical knowledge he obtained in his exile. The group escapes to warn the town, but are faced with the prejudice the humans have against the Dark Elf and wish to slay him. The Ayrian princess and the others stand by their friend, ready to fight two fronts.
