Michael Zeferino Spring is from Oregon, the author of five poetry collections and one children's book. He is a poetry editor for Pedestal Magazine, Cobra Lily Review, and Flowstone Press. His poetry awards include the Robert Graves Award, the Turtle Island Poetry Award. This book won the James Tate Poetry Prize 2022.
