Heart of Being

Life is not measured by what others think of our choices. Life is measured by the inner drive to take on the role of pioneer and step into the unknown, fear in hand, ready to risk all in the endeavor. Invariably, stepping into an unknown universe reveals more within us than we knew existed.My poetry is raw, honest. It is a testament to the beauty, majesty and grace of living, alongside the horror, fears and doubts of my darkest times. For all of it, I would not exchange one moment, or a single breath. The tumult of these past years has deepened my spirit, and for that I am thankful.
