Who Iced The Snowman? : A Cisco Maloney Mystery

It's Christmas Eve, circa 1940, and private eye Cisco Maloney and his sidekick Carmine are out to make a quick buck by tracking down the killer of Plotzky the snowman, a famous children's TV icon. Plotzky has met his demise in his fabulous penthouse in front of his grand fireplace and all that remains of the rolly polly performer is his top hat, his coal eyes, his carrot nose--and a puddle of water. The local cops are not too enthused to find the killer, but an anonymous reward of $1,000 is all Cisco needs to motivate him and his pal. No sooner are the two gumshoes on the trail, but a pack of irate snowmen attack them, and the two men head underground (way underground, via the sewer). As the plot thickens, Cisco and Carmine follow a trail that leads to some of the most famous "characters" in history--the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, and even the Tooth Fairy. But the boys keep their eyes on the prize (the $1,000 one, that is) as they struggle to find out "Who Iced the Snowman?"
