80th Hinton Family Reunion Cookbook

This is a compilation of favorite recipes submitted by many generations of the Hinton Family. The recipes may or may not be original. WILLIAM AND SOPHIA HINTON William Hinton was born near Bedford, Bedford County, PA on March 7, 1832. Mary Sophia Mangus was born in Pennsylvania, April 28, 1839. They were married on Sept. 14, 1854. There were five children born at Bedford before the family moved. They were Matilda, Jeremiah, Jemima, Joseph, and James. The family moved to Middlebranch, OH where Ervin was born. They moved then to Iowa, living in Cedar and Muscatine Counties where Ezra, Mary Alice, and Daniel were born. Daniel, born Oct. 20, 1871, died June 13, 1872. The family were living near Harmon, Lee County, IL in 1873, when Emma was born. George and Clara were also born in Illinois. All of the family except two daughters, Jemima and Mary Alice moved to Fillmore County, Nebraska in 1879. Clarence and Nettie were born in Fillmore County. Then in 1884 the family moved to Frontier County where Ida Luella was born.
