This is a story about four generations of black-American women struggling for freedom, justice, and respect in our so called America. Through four generations, the Quinton women were strong, vibrant, talented and beautiful. Like a female spider, they weaved their way through the mainstream of life to maintain their dignity to love their family and strived to make their goals prosperous and rewarding. Porch Girls in itself is a metaphor of strength, knowledge, pain, love, and humor. It is LIFE!
