Going, Going, Gone!

After an earthquake decimates their stadium, yanking a trio of pampered baseball players back through time to the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, they find their lives have been obliterated with it. Stuck in this new—or rather, old—era, and in a world that has more-than-slightly diverged from their history books, they set out for the nearest major league city to begin their journey back into baseball. Soon, the trio catches on with the New York Giants, where they relish not having their every move and utterance scrutinized by twenty-first century TV and social media. After a twist of fate and the use of modern baseball analytics, the players from the future lead the Giants to victory and an international baseball challenge by the rump remnant of the Confederacy and their all-star team, featuring Ty Cobb and his murderous, menacing baseball brothers.
