There is a prevalence of collectivist thought within the fields of public health and healthcare. Those that have chosen public health as their discipline know that textbook after textbook all espouse the same formula for dealing with any form of public health problem whatsoever; rob people of their God-given freedoms. Many of the public health professionals today have never read the Constitution or Bill or Rights, but nonetheless are in positions of power over the rest of the American populace. Rarely, if ever will one find a professor that points out a particular "remedy" to a "problem" violates basic human rights. Never is there an in-depth discussion about Constitutional law, human rights, or anything similar. The rules, regulations and laws today are built upon a flawed foundation of "well, it's public health, so government officials can do whatever they want." People believe public health is in essence a blank check - a source of unlimited power. As we've learned, public health is the perfect guise for tyranny. Once one states a particular action needs to be taken to "protect the public health", the majority of Americans seem to just roll over. Fear and superstition have taken the place of our love of freedom, and thus we agree to what is thought to be security instead. It was with the passing of 2020 and Covid 19 that I began to see the culmination of all the potential horrors. It seems every day in the news, we read about new infringements on human rights by those who are in a quest to "stop the spread". This book is a clarion call to action for those that love freedom, have studied history, and cherish our basic human rights, before they are taken from us in the interests of "keeping us safe".
