Through my research I had discovered that Elizabeth had checked into the facility using the pseudo, Ruth Warner. I pinned, what was at the time, my favourite picture of Elizabeth into the inside of a get well card. The picture was returned signed by Elizabeth, and this was the inception of my decades of celebrity connection. Many letters and cards followed and in 1992 I was declared by Miss Taylor as her number one fan and this became a wonderful penfriendship that lasted until her passing in 2011. Over the years I amassed an extraordinary collection of all things Elizabeth Taylor, many items sourced from around the world and even from the personal home and wardrobe of the Hollywood icon.
