The Adventures Of George Lee: Recovery

The third book in a series begins with two military officers examining the damage by a satellite weapon's attack on the U.S. capital during a severe snowstorm. There is extensive damage to the White House. U.S. intelligence agencies trying to find the source of the attack. Foreign countries celebrate as they watch news of the destruction of the White House, and there is concern World War Three is unavoidable. An unknown enemy attacked New York City, New York, resulting in major damage there as well. George Lee prepares his army division for deployment following this latest news. Iran invites George and his unit into their country and promises to help find the location of the destroyed satellite's control unit. Col. Lee has a problem with the Iranian general who threatens to have him arrested. They then continue the search with Col. Lee in charge. At the return home, Lee's unit receives a hero's welcome. Sometime later, Laura and George discover they are to become parents.One of George's family members dies and soon his baby arrives. An imposter and his partner kidnap George and Laura, but the Indiana State Police set traps for the kidnappers. There were attempts upon Col. Lee's life. One attacker contacted the police detective and requested a meeting with Col. Lee. Intrigue follows Col. Lee and his friends. His wife, Laura, stays by his side and supports him and his friend as they face issues that are daunting to any parent. George's family faces health issues; they discover spies working in George's city, and other missions face Col. Lee. The Army assigns Col. Lee an especially challenging job when he is told to win back the loyalty of locals in an Afghanistan community.
