This novel is a variation on Pride and Prejudice. It begins just after Mr Darcy visits Ramsgate and saves his sister from George Wickham.After foiling George Wickham's plans to elope with his sister at Ramsgate, Mr Darcy must find another companion for Miss Darcy. When he meets the orphaned Miss Elizabeth Bennet at Netherfield Park, she seems ideal. He little suspects how important she will become to him, or the problems that will separate them, before he marries her and makes her the mistress of Pemberley.
