Both volumes contain a comprehensive exposition from queries raised by Christian and Muslim people in need of answers.My encountering with two dedicated elderly Muslims from 2000 to 2003 was a rude awakening opened my eyes.One day I received call from an executive asked me for a quotation regarding the expansion of the electrical board from single to three phases.After satisfied his wish on a drawing, regarding the expansion of it, I went home, furnishing a quotation, he accepted.At the lunch table, while the woman disclosing the birth of Islam by the way of Ishmael son of Abraham, my interest kindled concerning their belief giving birth to this manuscript that evening at their kitchen table.Abdul, her husband informed me with the next narrative by defining the word "Hanif" deriving from "Hanafa" meaning to lean or incline or turn away from error towards guidance or incline to the right religion, stand firmly on one side, leaving a false religion or turn to what is right.In pre-Islamitic times, this term had a clearly monotheistic connotation and was used to describe a person who turned away from sin, worldliness and dubious beliefs, especially idol worshipping.Before the advent of Islam, a school of thought existed known as "hanif" who openly vowed Unitarianism (rejecting of the Trinity) as their faith, professing the religion taught by Abraham.These few earnest people were averse to idolatry and were believers in ONE God.They did not find solace and satisfaction in Christianity or Judaism.At the time of the Holy Prophet, they included Zaid Ibn Amr bin Nufail, 'Umar's uncle, the renowned poet and the chief of Taif. Frequently once a week on a friendly basis, we met at their house conducting Bible study. After three years they admitted, they envied me in the first place because I was a Christian believer, apparently they endeavoured, converting me to Islam, however my knowledge of the Scriptures was a great obstacle, acted as a revelation for them, reverting to their original roots, called Hinduism.Later on, they admitted to one another, not envying me anymore, because they could see clearly the distortions in the two booklets they used, converting me.After three years of intense study, they handed both books to me, kept on studying it with the Word of God including many references and dictionaries.
