This is a biography told though vignette's covering twenty years of Camille Waldorf's fine art paintings. UNFRAIMED is Camille's first book. It features contemporary paintings and drawings by the artist and showcases work that spans her career. It includes stories about her influences and evolution. A California native, born and raised in the Santa Cruz area, Camille Waldorf has a background in art, music, dance, equestrian vaulting, and theatre. She has exhibited her art at the Wilshire Ebell gallery, Ashley Paige gallery, Mr. Musichead Gallery, Wake Me When I'm Famous Gallery, and the San Francisco Art Institute. Waldorf has also worked as an art director for London-based Schön! Magazine, and produced her own music video for a song she wrote and composed called "Delicate Boy". Camille is an award winning actress, singer, and songwriter for the film Scumbag. Camille sings "Delicate Boy" in Scumbag the movie. This film has won best ensemble cast at the Queens film festival and best comedy at the Philadelphia film festival. Camille also painted the cover art for the sales of her single "Delicate Boy"sold on C.D. Baby. As an actress, she has appeared in Scumbag, films Heather's Dream, The Bacchae, Four Reasons, Hell Ride, 29 Palms, and Wildflowers. As a model, she has appeared in Vogue Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Details Magazine, TANK Magazine, Rolling Stone Magazine, Flaunt, FAULT Magazine, California Apparel News (cover), and Lemonade Magazine. Waldorf has modeled for Swarovski, Levi Strauss & Co., Miller's Outpost, Skincare Market, Heatherette, Jared Gold, Nathalie Saphier, and Steffi Dobrindt Designs. She attended the San Francisco Art Institute for the B.F.A. program and is represented as a model and actress . The multi-talented Waldorf is also a musician. Camille, who works with real, surreal, and abstract images. She work's with oil on canvas, acrylic, and acrylic ink on paper. Camille like's to paint the human figure to capture past, and present moments. She prefers to paint musicians, and dancers because they both have the element of live sound, movement, and acting. That can also have these elements found on film, and in photography. This makes the study of their documentation accessible, and available to paint and draw live.
