The Deity of Christ is of vital importance to the Christians walk for as our Lord has said: "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father in heaven. (Matthew 10:32-33). To deny Christ and His Deity, is to deny salvation and eternal life, yet many over the centuries and up to this present hour do exactly that in the most sinister and vicious way. They confess to take the sacred name of Jesus upon themselves yet deny His Divinity and Deity. And being uncontent to perish themselves they insist on taking as many of the unwatchful and unmindful with them. Yet Scripture plainly states: "for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins." (John 8:24). Notice that "he" in "I am he" in John 8:24 is in italics, for, it is not in the original Greek. And the sacred name "I am" is revealed to us to be the great name of God Almighty in the book of Exodus the third chapter the fourteenth verse which reads: "And God said unto Moses, I AM That I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you." and our Lord states in John 8:58 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am." Thus we see the first declaration to the Deity of Christ in Scripture of which there is a vast abundance, many of which are contained within this book. As well as an explanation and discussion on the Holy Trinity which is the vital key to understanding the Deity of Christ, this and a discussion on the prophecy of Daniel declaring the first advent of our Lord which secular history shows to have been written before the event took place and happened exactly as written is what we shall be discussing within this book, as well as the Canon of Holy Scripture as declared by antiquity which has been from the beginning as it is to our very present day as history attests.
