This book is a Christian challenge to the Muslims indeed. The author painstakingly brought forward almost all the controversial doctrines between Islam and Christianity to the forefront for discussion. As a pastor, one could feel his passion as he tried to clear the Muslims doubt on some major cardinal teachings of the Bible so as to clear their minds for proper understanding of Christians doctrine which stood between them and their salvation in Christ. The author acknowledges the great challenge Muslims encountered in trying to answer some of these challenges Christians put forward to them. Sometimes the best a Muslim could do is to ignore them and pose as if they do not exist. Both Christians and Muslims who do not have in-debt knowledge of the religion may find this book revealing and expository. This can be a tool for further probing into full knowledge of the tenet of their religion. The book is portable and handy, that a good reader can easily read within few hours. The book should not be approached as a novel, but it flows like a novel and is mind captivating like a trailer that is capable of putting one minds and heart doing some overtime. Islam appears like a religion which accommodates all the philosophy and ideologies of other religions including paganism, yet pretend to be the most monotheistic religion on earth. Its claim of one indivisible, all powerful, merciful, compassionate, all knowing Allah (God) is probably second to none. Nevertheless, when you get into what they call their scriptures the Quran and Hadiths and the Sirah you are chocked with what you find. It becomes a major problem defending it with empirical evidence and proofs what they held as their major tenet of faith. Author who had studied Islam with passions for many years and have work with many of them as friends and colleagues unveiled in a greater detail some of these doctrines that lack Biblical proofs and this pulse as a major challenge to the Muslims who believe that the Quran is an extension of the Bible inspiration. Knowing Jesus is another main stumbling block in understanding the Bible and this make many Jews, gentiles and Muslims to perish for lack of knowledge. It took the disciples of Jesus sometime before they could fully identify him and this they did through divine intervention of God the father himself. Peter who got the revelation of who Jesus is in Caesarea Philippi as "Thou art Christ the Son of the Living God" (Matt. 16:13-19), later in his epistle 1Peter 2:8 said Christ was "And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence..." Both the Jews and Muslims rejected Christ for the same reason: To the Jews he was a son of a carpenter from Galilee he could not have been the Son of God or the Messiah. For the Muslims, Jesus was not more than a messenger of God, for God is not a man to sire a son since he has no wife and Allah alone is to be worshiped. His humble background and disposition has become a stumbling block to the way of salvation to many. This book is an eye opener and a clear revelation of the person of Christ. It is made easy for anyone who would care to read with an unbiased mind. If you have some collection of books on Islam and Christianity and you don't have this one, you will be missing some vital facts for your full understanding of mechanism of the two great religion of our time
