This applies equally to the Soma as well as the Psyche and the interaction of the two, both in health as well as disease, and, thus compounded, has yielded various and differing conceptions of that interaction with its elements and their essential nature yet awaiting definitive explication. In this offering, the author selects Physical Medicine and the Healing Process as the prism by which the interplay of definitive aspects of Soma and Psyche may be viewed in parsing the effect of the interplay of the two realms and their elements by way of their more immediate reaction to trauma and the subsequent elected adaptive path, healthy or not. For achieving such evaluation the author offers a symptom and personality assessment schema necessary for defining the individual's fundamental uniqueness basic to the focus of such assessment, including the schema's application as well to specification of such variables as Medication and its side effects, the Attending Physician, the Psychiatrist, and the Electronic Health Record. To demonstrate the schema's application the author offers in exemplum a case history and diagnosis of an unnamed historical figure for the reader's surmise. In the overall, the author makes a strong case that the time is well nigh for certain overdue changes in the Form and Content of Psychological research now possible with the advent of Interventional Technology.
