What Is Your Attitude Towards God?

Christians have developed a relatively unknown but not strange attitude that could not be understood towards God Himself. It is something great on the day you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, old things was being put away while new things were in the offing. It is incredible to note that in every Christians of today hardly can you find any of those new things again after they have confessed Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour. The same old attitude resurfaced without regret, and manifested even worse than the ones they left initially. 2 Corinthians 5 v. 17 says, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."Virtually, majority of us as at today, do not exhibit or have any positive attitude towards God. Every one of us has developed or is developing a relatively unknown but not strange attitude towards God in our everyday living. Backbiting grows on a daily basis among Christians; where's attitude? A lot of the works of flesh are no longer hidden among Christians of today; where's attitude? So many ungodly characters are found among Christians, both in the highest level to the lowest level; where are attitude? All the things God frowned at are now the things we are taking as necessary and important to justify our attitude towards doing such things. And by so doing, we portray God as a fool in a way.Many claimed to be in Christ but have not sincerely become a new creature. They are still the same old self before being in Christ. What is so painful is that these set of Christians are even worse than those of the world. Their attitude makes it virtually impossible for the true Christians to win souls for Christ anymore. They are nailing the Son of God on a daily basis more to the cross times without number over and over again; claiming once they confess their sins, they will be forgiven.Majority of the so-called Christians of today are not born of the Spirit but of the flesh; that's the reason a lot of them are still operating under the influence, control and authority of the flesh. Their flesh is so powerful to the extent that they cannot do without satisfying the flesh. No more room for the Spirit of God to operate in these so-called "born-against." Many of them were born of water but refused to be born of the Spirit. Many of them are holding the top post in the Christendom today exhibiting the same "killer attitude" towards God and man.What is your own attitude towards God?
