Heresy Out Loud!: Paths for Way-Walkers

Religious issues seem to make the news around the world every day. Extremists of every stripe abound. Many of us who don't identify with spiritual extremism also struggle with how to think about and talk about our own beliefs. Here is a report of my own struggles with articulating faith in the present age. The book is in two parts: the first is a collection of essays (or sermons) written over the last few years. The second part of the book is an attempt to provide an alternative way of speaking about faith issues that is compatible with contemporary science. Although my own faith tradition is within the Christian tradition, the latter part of the book would be applicable to any faith perspective. While I certainly don't expect my readers to agree with me, I trust that I am providing sufficient challenge and some resources to facilitate a review and reworking of the spiritual perspective that is important to you. My work is influenced by and compatible with the mBraining perspective advocated by Soosalu and Oka. Members of the mBraining community will find this material quite relevant to the life coaching they are doing.
