These six short stories have been written toward an age group of 7 to 14 years old but can be enjoyed by all ages. five of the stories center around a period in the Celtic region during the Dark Ages in Europe. The stories are about good people living simple but difficult lives. The stories do not contain graphic conflicts or objectionable language. In all of the characters, we find strong personalities. I, the author write very much like I talk, and admit that my grammar is not perfect, and my vocabulary is not filled with flowery language trying to sound like someone I am not. The principal characters are purely fictitious and if I refer to certain historical figures, like kings or Bishops or actual places it is only to anchor the stories in the period. and not meant to rewrite any of history. The fantasy story of Grahney borrows from the names of fairies and goblins and other mythological beings of pre-historical Ireland. I have not borrowed from any of the books or storylines that have been written using the classification of fantasy beings other than, for example, to use the concept and word of goblin or fairies. Any resemblance to actual people living or dead is purely coincidental.
