It's Your Business, Get Informed, Get Inspired and Get Going

I have always had the desire to draw. At a young age, I accredit a lot of the designs. I suppose my mother (Alma Bowers, the owner of AB Cakes) had the artistic niche. My uncle (Frank Wells, a professional artist) and grandfather (Esque Wells Sr., an artist at heart) loved to draw. Although in different areas, whether catering or otherwise, so many of my family members had the artistic niche and created their own businesses in some form or another.I personally just loved being able to express on paper the unlimited amounts of creativity my mind could fathom, taking pens, papers, markers, and crayons everywhere I went. Drawing was so important especially so I would not miss any and every opportunity to jot down my ideas and future plans of being able to use my imagination to create images and ideas as a future architect.Once, I found out my high school was offering art. This was the equivalent of winning a million dollars, as well an escape from math, which I hated with a passion.My teacher Ms. Welch at Willow Run High School in a small town called Ypsilanti, Michigan, entered me in my first art contest when I was sixteen. One of the most memorable projects was designing the themed gift-shop bag for the Art Institute of Michigan. With my instructors guidance, I won first place.
