Is God Good?

Is God good? Some people think so. And some people think He is watching over them, ready to throw lightning bolts down on them when they do wrong. Some people think He is just too busy running the universe to be good to them. And some question whether He exists at all. The first two humans on the earth questioned God's goodness as they listened to a snake pose the question, "Why would a good God keep that fruit from you?" Regardless of her lack of faith, he comes through on his promise and a year later her baby is born. All seems well until, as a young lad, her son falls ill and dies. What is her response?
