To Arms : The New Colonial War

A Science Fiction/Speculative Fiction novel, set in a near-future. A solar system-wide war spanning 10 years is nearing its end as a special forces officer and his squad attempt to survive the war while still performing their duty. However, there are other events at work that will change the outcome of the war. Griffin Lancer is a SCARs Officer in the Federation, fighting against the Assembly of Powers, a Kratocratic government seeking solar domination. Griffin knows the war will end soon, as his army has just committed to an all-in strategy to invade Earth and end a war that is turning humanity extinct. With his squad, Griffin will traverse through the war in his head and on the field to survive. However, other forces have been at work since the war's onset that aim to reveal a deeper truth to the war, and to Griffin's purpose in this maelstrom.
