About the Author Amanda McKee was born in Britain where she earned a B.Sc. honours degree in Biology. After emigrating to Canada she obtained a B.Ed at the University of Toronto. She taught High School Biology, Math and Science for over thirty years. Today she is retired but still presents Biological courses at her local Senior centre. She enjoys gardening in the summer months, jigsaw puzzles, reading and computer games in the winter months. She travels as much as she can, learning about different cultures and appreciating all the world has to offer. Amanda is married with two children and lives in Ontario, Canada.
