The hunting and food themes speak to universal, timely issues for survival. The warm fuzzy illustrations are wonderful and sure to delight children as well as adults. I think the message to timeless, yet connected to moderate life with current research on diet, etc., as showing vegetarian diets to be a more mainstream choice these days than in the past.
