Jaime Hayon

The book collects a series of writings that describe the maturity and new directions of the work of Spanish artist and designer Jaime Hayon. Following a selection of milestones from his twenty-year career as a product designer, the book will focus on Hayon's method of making, his professional approach and visual research. Particular attention will be paid to public art, interior and exhibition design, monumental installations and special projects, ranging from collectible editions to contemporary art. A section divided into different chapters will discuss Hayon's relationship with specific materials, his theory of color, his drawing technique, and his ethnographic curiosity in studying cultural and productive contexts.
