A disabled worker is a person who, due to his or her disability, may have difficulties in performing the functions of his or her job. Job adaptation consists of eliminating barriers and modifying the conditions of the work process so that it can be performed by a worker with a disability. The objectives of this research are to determine if maquiladora companies in Santa Ana, Sonora, have the facility to adapt jobs for people with disabilities. The information was obtained through questionnaires, the data were analyzed statistically, which indicate that the maquiladora companies of Santa Ana, Sonora do not adapt jobs for the disabled, because there is not enough information about labor inclusion for people with disabilities and they do not know that the law states that every company must provide work for the disabled.
