ASEAN-Republic of Korea Tourism Cooperation: Fostering People-to-People Connectivity

This report looks at the resilience of tourism flows between the Republic of Korea and ASEAN member states, breakdown key drivers and challenges, and outlines ways to strengthen regional tourism cooperation. Celebrating 35 years of bilateral relations, the report analyzes how the pandemic reshaped ASEAN's tourism sector, which created 40.2 million jobs and contributed to 8.3% of regional GDP in 2023.
