San Marino Blues has a depth that shines a light into the life experiences many have and then try to suppress the memories that refuse to fade. In this story, we follow John from the peaks to falling in love to the bottomless pits of irretrievable loss. In this story is the inner world of not just one man, but most of humanity. San Marino Blues is more a story of love than a love story in the conventional sense. There is a lyrical feel at times in this work that makes the words almost sing as you read them. This is an unexpected experience reading a novel. It speaks a deep connection to truths and emotions that must find their way into the light.
