Christians are beset by relationship issues, just as non-Christians are because, though we are saved, we still live in a fallen world. Hence JESUS said that 'it was impossible for offenses not to assail us, ' because we live in a fallen world, and we are still housed in human flesh. The Body of Christ today, to a large extent seems to live in a false sense of euphoria where life's realities are concerned, and so they try to spiritualize everything without any practical application to most of what adversely affects us. In 1 Corinthians chapter 7, Paul the Apostle dealt with various relationship and marital issues, including divorce and remarriage, even without infidelity.
