When two LA investigators agree to check out a mysterious equipment failure in the North Slope oil fields of Alaska, they assume they'll spend a week roaming the frozen tundra, only to determine the cause was a simple accident. It should be an easy way to make a quick buck and score a free exotic vacation. But the far north is more than a land of bad weather, primitive living conditions, and constant isolation.
