As human beings, made in the image and likeness of God, we have a great dignity and a great destiny. This catechism, adapted with permission from the original catechism of the parish of San Pedro in Monsefú, in the diocese of Chiclayo, Peru, is a brief summary of our Catholic faith, which is designed to help us draw closer to God in our lives of faith on Earth, so that one day we can enjoy eternal life with God in Heaven.
