We all wonder how God can use us when we are like old clay pots that are worn, chipped, cracked, and broken by affliction and persecution. We've been trying to hold it together, but he doesn't need us to be perfect or have it all together. We see the supernatural work of a mighty, yet tender loving God, willing to redeem us, a lost and very broken vessel, and deposit his Spirit, the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, in us. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, and our willing obedience, these jars of clay are now the temple of the most High God. Now, THAT is something to shout about. THAT is the greatest supernatural miracle of all time. We, your and I, as followers of Christ Jesus, have this treasure in jars of clay, so that it may be made clear that this extraordinary power, that dwells in us, belongs to God and does not come from us - 2 Corinthians 4:7
