The USSR collapse eventually resulted in the emergence of several new countries, which were characterized by more than a few differences between them, with respect to both the economic and the sociopolitical sphere. The collapse inevitably caused numerous thorny tribulations in terms of all the new countries without a single exception. Some of them managed to perform significant progress steps, while others are still suffering from several difficulties. In the context of this book, our dominant target is to conscientiously scrutinize Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan in order to discover whether or not their hitherto conducted development attempts can be regarded as successful and provide the reader with a number of conclusions concerning their foremost future prospects.
