Understanding the message of Luke-Acts in African Religious Context has been designed to portray the fulfillment of God's plan for Isreal, the Gentiles and the rest of the world; through the coming of the Messiah and the Holy Spirit. Luke-Acts explained salvation and brought to light the Holy Spirit as the propelling force behind the ministry of Jesus and that of the disciples, the marginalized in the society and Jesus' reaction to them, prayer, as the power that induces miracles and communication with the God, the Father. It highlighted the transfer of ministry from Jesus to the disciples through the coming of the Holy Spirit as well as the early life of the disciples who adopted communal living. Luke-Acts also featured the conversion of Paul and its impact on the early church. From Africa background; Igbo perspective, Luke-Acts x-rayed the essence, relevance of the communal living of the disciples to human relationship.
