At home, Lena's father would try to spend time with her by inviting her to have dinner with Sara and him, and every time Lena would kindly refuse, she knew that her father would want to talk about her case, and although she trusted her father, she could not take any chances, for if word got out that the case was discussed, it could ruin her career before she even got started. As Lena would work on her case in her father's study, she would notice that the young woman admitted that the two ounces of cocaine were hers, so if the charge of premeditated murder would not hold Lena knew that the young woman would be charged with intent to sell illegal drugs and still be sent to prison. Lena would learn that Craig was not hooked on drugs and the young woman was, and Lena found that prior to the night that Craig met his demise he and the young woman had not ever met. If Lena wanted to close out this case, she could by plea bargain, however something just did not seem right. Lena quickly called for her father to meet her in his library, as Clancy Joe and Sara entered the library, they could see that Lena was more than upset and asked Lena what was wrong. On the morning that Lena's father was to leave a car pulled up with two gentleman in it, one of the men came over the intercom asking if Clancy Bell lived at this address, as Clancy hurried to the door he told Lena that these men would be taking him to the airport and that she was not to mention this to anyone, she told him not to worry about anything and to hurry back, Lena would then give her father a hug as if she were to never see him again.
