With cattle gone missing between Iowa and the Eastern Rockies, Susan Jakes, a government range inspector, and Doctor Lane Curtis, a veterinarian from Laramie, Wyoming, are accidentally pulled into a conspiracy of unbelievable magnitude. In High School she was one of fourteen girls to help women become members of the Future Farmers of America. In college she taught horseback riding and was a member of California Young Farmers. Her Jr. and Sr. years were at the University of Wyoming. Where she graduated with a BS degree in Animal Science.
