Based on the book Sheriff Jessy of Boonies, KY, converted into a screenplay. This is a story about Boonies, a small town located in a secluded mountainous area of Kentucky. It's 2007, and Boonies had remained almost untouched by modern-day culture. That is until a large crime wave and corruption invaded their quaint society. Boonies face the intrusion of gangs, bribers, lying politicians, and swindlers. The townspeople are seduced by promises of better jobs and better lives. However, one of the towns' leaders is not drawn in by the unscrupulous schemes of outsiders, his name is Sheriff Jessy. Sheriff Jessy's gentle peace-loving ways and his relationship with the town drunk, Zeke, create and unlikely ending to the tale of rescuing Boonies from the evil, greedy politicians.
